How long does it take?

Turnaround varies with workload and the pose. I'll give you an estimated timeline at intake. If you have a target date, let me know and I'll tell you if it's realistic.

How do I freeze my turkey?

Don't gut it and don't wash it. Smooth the feathers, tuck the head under a wing, put the whole bird in a plastic bag, squeeze the air out, and freeze it flat. Keep it frozen until it gets to the studio.

Can I ship my bird?

Yes, but contact me before you ship. Packing, timing, and any paperwork depend on the state and species.

Do you accept birds from out of state?

Yes. Hunters regularly ship birds in from other states. Reach out first so we can go over packing and any paperwork.

Can I pick the pose?

Yes. Full strut, standing, flying, wall pedestal — if you're not sure, send photos of the bird and the space and I'll recommend one.

I specialize in wild turkeys and take a limited number of upland birds — pheasant, quail, chukar, and grouse — around the turkey schedule.
